The Ford Heights Hope Center helped me to get a job as a teen and every since I look to the Hope Center for many opportunities such as applying for college. After my grades were failing I was able to use the computers at the Hope Center to do so needed make up work.

Hello.  Our little day program for seniors is going under unless we get some help.  Calgary is booming again and just like the other boom times, seniors, children and the disabled are the ones who lose.  We were renting a little basement space in a run doiwn commercial building, but the rent has doubled.  And this was the only place we could afford!  We are packing but have nowhere to go, because we can't afford the damage deposit and new rent. Please help, even a dollar is a blessing.

 

The seniors who attend this program have become like family to one another, and regardless of their challenges or disabilities, have made strong friendships and loyalties to the program and to one another.  Please, please don't let their program die.

I already work for next to nothing ( I work 70 hours per week and accept only $400 er month in wages as their director), otherwise I would give up my salary.

I started New Beginnings in 2004. I provide homework assistance, tutorial services, collegiate tours, academic summer camp, and free lunch for the children that attend my program.
